4 Reasons why you need a Business Coach

Why have a Business Coach you may ask? Have you ever heard of a successful Sports Team or Sportsperson who doesn’t have a coach?  A Business Coach helps you significantly enhance your Leadership Skills, Performance, Business and helping you develop an Engaged Team.  They are able to provide you with valuable insights which will help you develop your long-term and short-term goals and strategies.

Except for the above, a Business Coach can take you to the next level and help you move from point A to point B. They will push you, challenge you, support you, hold you accountable and be honest with you, exactly the same way a Sports Coach will be with a Sportsperson or team.

No matter what stage you or your business are at, a Business Coach can make you work harder, hold you accountable and make more progress than you would on your own.  From providing a sometimes much needed ego check to helping you move forward, a Business Coach can give you both the tools and perspective you need.

According to Entrepreneur.com there are 4 reasons why you should have a Business Coach:

  1. To brainstorm together – Two heads are better than one, having that extra person helping you brainstorm benefits and also pushing you to think broader than you might have if you were alone.  A Business Coach can help you discover your personal values as well as your beliefs, values and beliefs that you might not have known exists.  Not only can they help you find these but then they can assist you with linking them to your desires and intentions.  Sometimes all it takes is a whole new perspective, a new or added pair of eyes.
  2. To discuss ideas – You will never find your own personal audience, someone who is 100% focused and dedicated to only you.  A Business Coach during your time together forgets about everything else going on around them and is there for only you – no distractions, no cell phones and no one else wanting their attention.   Because they are only focused on you, they are able to ask you in-depth  questions regarding your core values.  The best thing about having a Business Coach is that there is absolutely NO judgement involved, they accept you for you.
  3. Hold you accountable – How often do you break your promise to yourself, isn’t it amazing that we do this more often than we do it to other people? A Business Coach becomes your accountability partner making sure that you strategize and work on your goals, challenging you to keep all your promises to yourself and also challenging you to achieve all your goals.
  4. To receive guidance and clarity – A Business Coach will challenge you every step of the way, they will challenge the way you think, the goals you have set for yourself and they will push you to grow a lot more than you believe you are capable of doing.  The best Business Coach to have is somebody who has walked in your shoes, who has “been there and done that.”  A Business Coach can also act as a Mentor or Role Model because of the experience that they share with you.  A Business Coach will help you think of things that you would never have thought of.

With 24 years’ experience in the corporate world, I know exactly where you are coming from, what your struggles and frustrations are and will be the perfect accountability partner for you.

If a professional Sportsperson or team can get a coach to help them become the best, why can’t you?
